Type of moduleElective module
Learning outcomes, acquired competencies and qualification goals

Sizing oriented machine modelling using the finite element method

After the successful participation in the course Linear Static Magnetic Analysis the students are able to:

  • establish the model and make the numerical resolution of the linear electrostatic model
  • establish the model and make the numerical resolution of the linear magneto-static model
  • establish the model and make the numerical resolution of the linear electro-magnetic model

After the successful participation in the course Non-Linear Static Magnetic Analyses the students are able to:

  • establish the model and make the numerical resolution of the non-linear electrostatic model
  • establish the model and make the numerical resolution of the non-linear magnetostatic model
  • establish the model and make the numerical resolution of the non-linear electromagnetic model
